Become the rights and interests of the general education alliance of ecological civilization and sustainable development goals SDGs

1. Units that meet the application conditions will be awarded the "Ecological Civilization and Sustainable Development Goals General Education Pioneer School" by the Sustainable Development Goals #SDG Action 39168 project of the United Nations Department of Social and Economic Affairs. (The school applies by itself, no fees are involved)

2. Priority is given to project cooperation and participation opportunities from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment’s Education Center, such as application consultation work for local international ecological schools; (schools apply by themselves, no fees are involved)

3．Assist schools to establish SDGs student clubs, and continue to provide consultation and learning support to student clubs. (If the school organizes it by itself, there is no cost involved)

4. Cooperation to authorize and provide "Sustainable Development Goals SDGs general education knowledge and practice courses" can be carried out in conjunction with students' social practice, labor practice, class meetings, clubs, Model United Nations and other courses to provide SDGs general education certified by the United Nations SDGs #39168 project Training and practical activities.

5. Provide schools with SDGs-related subject application and teacher training for project-based learning, such as "Sustainable Development Goals SDGs General Education Junior Tutor Certificate" training, examination and certificate certification; if you pass the assessment, you can obtain the certificate issued by the United Nations SDGs #39168 project Instructor certificate.

6．Provide school teachers and students with domestic and international sustainable development goals learning and exchange activities, including participation opportunities in the United Nations General Assembly and the annual summit of the SDGs General Education Alliance.

7. Provide professional thematic research and supporting activities and services for student career planning. Provide core journal publishing services for school teachers and students to match papers and research articles related to ecological civilization education and sustainable development education.

8. The national or local media will report on the activities, such as the awarding of licenses and the establishment of the center.

9. Display school or institution information on the United Nations Department of Social and Economic Affairs Sustainable Development Goals SDGs #39168 project website or official social media (official account or mobile phone platform).

10．Provide schools with consultation on campus culture, project application and teacher development, as well as personalized school-based curriculum development and customization services.

Application conditions for SDGs pioneer schools

1. Schools that have received the Green Flag International Eco-School honor from the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Protection’s Education Center and are within the validity period;

2. Or a school that is committed to promoting teachers and students to participate in sustainable development education and ecological civilization education, has independent legal personality and a national school license, and has carried out activities or work to promote the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the past year, for example, Establish an SDGs club to organize teachers and students to study and practice SDGs themes, and have specific records;

3．Or have carried out SDGs general education-related training, learning or practical activities in the past year; no less than 5 certified core teachers or employees of each applicant school have passed the primary or higher certification of the Sustainable Development Goals;

4. School hardware should also meet the conditions for the whole institution to participate in sustainable development such as low carbon and environmental protection (see the application form for specific requirements).
